Porcelain with glass base and 24K Gold Leaf
I sometimes like to hand build objects with no purpose other than to look beautiful. I like to use the same white porcelain I use when slip casting as it is pure white and allows the underglaze colours to shine bright under the crystal-clear glaze. Sometimes I add found objects as bases to these unique pieces, this one has a glass base found at an Op Shop. I decorated the base with 24K gold leaf, and the object with gold lustre to finish.
