Flower Power Person Skater by Stephen Baxter is one piece in the ongoing series of sculptures featuring the Pop Icon Anime figure of Astro Boy as the initial inspiration. The flower has been moulded from a blow-up toy. The Micky Mouse hands were hand built. This smaller figure was taken from a scan of my large Flower Power Person, printed and cast in porcelain. The message is clear, peace doesn’t hurt anyone, War is good for nothing. Smile and enjoy life.
